bizint 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 http://www.businessinteriors.co.uk/betatest/wordpress/design Hi! I've managed to put a "sub menu" in my left sidebar for my main design section. But how do I get this customised for all the other main topics? If you see my main menu I have design, fit out etc...if you hover over design you get a list of sub header pages below that for the design family of topics. I want a menu like I have done for Design but for the fit-out section! Does anyone know if there is a widget to automatically diplay the sub menu on the left for each main header topic? If I create a custom menu for each page how do I get it to display only in pages I want? If I add widget to bar it displays in all pages?! Widget Logic doesnt seem a very good idea but is this the only way?
cmunns 16 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 There should be a multitude of plugins for simple child page widget which automatically build the widget based on wp page hierarchy
bizint 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 Brilliant - I downloaded Sub Page Widget and it worked a treat! See on left! http://www.businessinteriors.co.uk/betatest/wordpress/design Many thanks Adam - another silly question though: When I choose just sidebar left - the menu drops down below another widget...I'm not sure how to order it so the sub menu widget goes back to the top? Can you help with this? Many thanks http://www.businessinteriors.co.uk/betatest/wordpress/office-fit-out/office-refurbishment
timlinson 3 Report post Posted June 7, 2011 Not sure if this is what you mean, but try going to platformpro > settings > sidebar options, and changing sidebar wrap to show on bottom.
