Go to the page editor for your pages and uncheck "Allow Comments" under the Discussion section. It is below the text editor box.

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

I have the same issue. I am attempting to get ride of the ability for a user to see this verbiage under the 'post reply' box for a 'page': Allow people to post comments on new articles: You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <cite> `

I have attempted to unflag this setting under 'discussion' under 'settings' but it has no affect.

I assume this needs to be manually customized in one of the php files. Can anyone point me in the right direction to hide this pesky verbiage?

Thanks

Jason`

Is there any successful fix to this because I'm really starting to become upset that I spent money on a program that I'm spending hours trying to find answers to every question I have. The more I look here the more I see the exact same questions (the same issues I have) asked over and over. Either provide something to make your program usable or you have to refund my money and I'll find one that does want the business.....sorry for the 'tude I've been struggling with this ALL day and feel like I have accomplished nothing....
