Headline on categry pages

Recommended Posts

Hi, I would like to have a headline with just the title of each category (or archive) page at the top of the loop. Right know nothing shows. I tried to ad .form-allowed-tags{display:block;} to my CSS but without luck. Thanks Riccardo

Right now there should be "Currently viewing *CATEGORY NAME HERE*" text at the top (by default). Would you like that to be replaced with the headline?

Thanks Catrina, at the moment I don't see anything, just the post lists. I would like to see at the top a headline (h2) with the category name (without "Currently viewing"). Even for search results I would be nice to see some sort of headline. I tried: disactivate all the plugins Remove all the custom CSS Chanage theme from PlatformBase 1.4.1 to the PlatformPro 1.5.0 But no luck Riccardo

Do you have everything checked in Platform Pro -> Settings -> Blog and Posts -> Post Byline Information ?

Thanks Jimmy, I tried to check them all and uncheck them all but no luck. But maybe I was unclear. I'm not talking about the category name in the byline information. I would like to have a headline at the top of the Category Lists saying just the name of the category.

Hi Riccardo, Are you able to send us a link to the site please? Also, perhaps a screenshot of the settings Jimmy was referring to.

I solved the problem! Strangely the headlines on category pages started showing by magic after I installed the "Breadcrumb NavXT". I then follow the instructions on http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/8279 to have just the title of the category without the ""Currently viewing..." text. Thanks Riccardo
