sebpayne 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2011 Hey guys, I'm sure this may be a repetition of questions before but I've had a search around and yet to find a satisfactory response on how to adjust these things. I'm building a site for a client based upon PlatformPro and need to make a few adjustments to the structure of the site. I've been working with WordPress for five years and know my wy around most themes but PlatformPro appears to be more advanced and complex so I can't find how make these changes in the usual places. 1. Adding category descriptions to category archive pages.I know the function but can not fathom the structure of where to put it 2. Blog posts on front page - I'd like to have the one big post as I do at the moment, then two columns with separate categories in each column. This possible? 3. Adjust the metadata for the loop to remove the author name and replace it with category name. As I said, i'd be fine on a more basic theme but if someone could point in me the right direction I'd be grateful. 1 and 3 are the most pressing to solve Thanks, Seb 3. catrina 103 Report post Posted June 12, 2011 These issues will require changes to several files, but the 3rd issue sounds most simple. Do you want the category name to be linked?
