Text align around thumbnail in excerpt

hello, I used steps in this topic http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/9469 to move thumbnail below the title. It works perfectly. But I don't like that the text is below the image (there is huge blank space). I solved it myself. Had written dedicated code for it.

Could you share your code with the rest of us? I really want that feature as well, but I am not knowledgeable enough to write that type of code.
