Feature Request: New filters

Hey guys, I recently had to hack the Platform to add two new filters so I could hook up my PageLines theme to PodsCMS plugin. (see http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/9831) The filters I had to add where `set_main_type` and `get_page_template`. To the methods inside PageLinesTemplate with the same name. I think that this may be helpful to other plugins too. Well, what do you guys think about adding it to the core?
