RE linking to a subdomain

Hello, I have created a website using static pages in Platform Pro. It's presentperfectenglish.com. My question is about adding a blog. I would like to add a "blog" page to my main navigation menu, and have it link to a subdomain. I have watched some video on youtube, so I think I understand how to create the domain (I haven't done it yet). I don't understand, though, how to link the word "blog" on the navigation menu to the subdomain. Also, I am assuming that b/c I already have WP installed for my site, I won't need to do anything else in terms of having my blog look essentially like my site. I recommend that instead of having blog.presentperfectenglish.com you should just make a new page called "blog" and in Settings -> Reading select it as your blog page, and then you will have presentperfectenglish.com/blog instead. Wordpress is really a blogging platform in the first place and this is what it was meant to do.
