bisharata 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2011 On my site, something kind of funky is going on with the Feature slider navigation text. On the homepage, the nav text only appears as "Feature 1" "feature 2" and so on ... But when I click on one of my menu tabs (which I've set to show categories of posts," and go to that page, then the navigation text on the feature slider works! So, it's only on the homepage that it doesn't work. Any ideas about how to fix? And here's the site http://eveningsends.com/
[Deleted User] 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2011 Have you entered a value in [Enter Feature Navigation Text (Names Nav Mode)] in the [Feature setup options]? It is easy to forget with all these options... ;-) Or is it the same set?
bisharata 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2011 Yes. That value appears, but only on one of the sub pages (when I click any of my menu options, that value is there) ... the only place the value doesn't show is on the homepage
[Deleted User] 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2011 Hi, I can reproduce this.. You probably added the [Pagelines Features] to the Site header template. The feature names will not show on the blog page (the page with the loop) in your case, the landing page. I have no fix... yet... Any takers?
[Deleted User] 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2011 It is as if these values are outside the scope of the blog template...
catrina 103 Report post Posted May 27, 2011 Perhaps you should try adding the features to a different template. Please read the docs before posting.
