iBlogPro3 3.5.1 - Copyright Site Terms Statement Footer Link

Under iBlogPro3 Options > Footer Options > Site Terms Statement there is a place to enter some text to describe the copyright or terms of use. For most sites, there is a terms of use page. It would be nice to have an option to have this be a link to a terms of service or copyright page.

Solution & Bug Discovered! Go to iBlogPro3 Options > Footer Options > Site Terms Statement > Terms line in footer field and use standard HTML for a link by typing a href= etc... In this way, it's possible to create a terms link in the footer. Here's what I ended up with: ?© 2009 ResourcesForLife.com Creative Commons BYSA 3.0 This link (here in the forums) doesn't open in a new page, but my HTML code I've specified target="_blank" to ensure it opens as a new window for reference. So, that's the good news. The bad news is that once you've done this, subsequent visits to the Footers Options page, under Site Terms Statement, the Terms line in footer will not appear properly and cannot be modified easily. This display corruption doesn't seem to cause any other problems. You'll probably see < a href= in the text box and then other text outside of the text box. To make any changes or corrections, it's necessary to remove any visible text in the box, then click the Save Options button. You can then leave it empty, put basic text there, or put in an HTML link again.
