New Pages getting automatically added to Menu after Upgrade to 1.5

I'm a new customer/user (4 days) and didn't realize that the BASE theme should be active with the Pro theme installed. After upgrading, I now have the BASE as the active theme. (not sure if it matters for my issue below) I just upgraded my PlatformPro and Base themes; now ALL new pages get automatically added to the Menu. Here are the tests I've done so far: 1) I went into the Menu Settings and confirmed the 'Sample' page is not part of the menu. 2) I deleted and recreated the menu with the same result. 3) I deleted the Sample Page and the item was removed from the Menu. 4) I created a new 'test' page and TEST appeared in the Menu. Something I'm missing in the settings, metadata, issue with code?

Are you talking about Appearance > Menus? If you want to use a custom menu you've created, make sure it's selected and saved in the "Primary Navigation" dropdown on that settings page.

Thanks Tim, forgot I made that change a few days ago and the setting must gone back to default after applying the update and changing the theme to 'Base' from 'PlatformPro'. I feel like a total newb

Ah no problem. Yep WP loads that per theme.
