I have lost visibility of my carousel's left and right navigational arrows.

-This is my first post, so I may lacking appropriate etiquette. I'll try to learn.- The functionality is still present to move the carousel items from left to right or vice versa, however, the arrows are not visible. Using Firebug I see where the background image is lined out but I don't know how to change it back. The site is http://www.cityofcharlestown.com/ Here is what Firebug shows:

#carousel .jcarousel-prev {
	    [s]background: url("images/carousel_navleft.png") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;[/s]
	    cursor: pointer;
	    left: 15px;
	}
	#carousel .jcarousel-next {
	    [s]background: url("images/carousel_navright.png") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;[/s]
	    cursor: pointer;
	    right: 15px;
As is indicated with the tag, the background property shows up as struck-through. Here is all the custom code I have inserted, using the PageLines custom code box:
body{}
	#branding .content-pad {
	  padding-bottom:2px;
	  padding-left:2px;
	  padding-right:0;
	  padding-top:2px;
	}
	#callout .content-pad {
	  padding-bottom:10px;
	  padding-left:5px;
	  padding-right:5px;
	  padding-top:10px;
	}
	#carousel .content-pad {
	  margin-bottom:1 px;
	  margin-left:10 px;
	  margin-right:10 px;
	  margin-top:1 px;
	}
	#carousel .thecarousel {
	    font-size: 10px;
	    overflow: hidden;
	    padding: 10px 70px 10px 70px;
	    position: relative;
	}
	.textwidget {
	    padding: 0px 0px;
	}
	#content_sidebar .widget, #fullwidth_sidebar .widget {
	  margin-bottom:0em;
	}

This is usually caused by cforms. You have to disable the default global styling option in the cforms settings.

Thanks Tim. This did seem to solve the problem. I deactivated CSS styling altogether. I'll mess around with it to see if I can still tailor my forms' style at all and use the carousel. I love Platform Pro, btw. As I learn more about CSS and PHP, I hope to experiment with a variety of settings. Thanks again.
