How To: Customize the sidebar HTML?

Recommended Posts

bencloson

I'd like to style the sidebar widget titel like this : widget.png I don't know in which php file I can modify it? I've already checked the files sidebar.php and section.sb_primary.php but I didn't find where I could modify the html. The current html is like that: <div class="widget-pad"> <h3 class="widget-title">Latest News</h3>

  • .....
-------- and I like to change it like that : <div class="widget-pad"> <h3 class="widget-title">Latest News</h3> <span class="tail"></span>
  • ....
tail = small image with a black triangle. I know that I could make an image to style the h3 with the CSS like that but I'm not interested in that solution. h3.widget-title { background: url('../platformpro/images/widgettitle.png') no-repeat 0 0; }

I don't know if this is the best way, but you can find this line in includes/library.templates.php: `'before_title' => '

',` and change to: `'before_title' => '

',`
