iblogpro becoming child theme???

Recommended Posts

rainbowmosaics

I just purchased iBlogPro 4 and now I read that it will become a child theme to PP really soon??? Does that mean I just paid for a theme that will be a legacy product right away and I will have to buy PP in order to continue to use the theme? Will there be a free upgrade path to PP for people like me who just bought the theme without knowing it would soon be a child theme? Can someone please explain the implications of this move to me and everyone else? Thanks

Hi Flo, Each theme will continue to function independently. However, the developers are working on giving users the ability to use our non-Platform themes as child themes of PlatformPro if they wish.

@ Ricardo... It was a replay to a post posted by Adam Munn

there is no time frame on it, but yes...the idea of PlatformPro is that it should be used as a core functionality to themes so of course we are working on updating older themes.
