small menu on ibolg demo - how?

I am looking at the HIGHLIGHT page example and I see a small menu above the HIGHLIGHT box (Blue Scheme, Black Scheme, Highlight Page). How do I create one of these small menus - it owuld be very helpful on my portfolio page to show sub categories of subjects Thanks! Flo
