i'd like to turn off sections like i am able to with my pages. how would i do that for a page you land on after a search. for example, i don't want footer sidebars, twitter bar, etc. any ideas? thx

There is PAGELINES SECTION CONTROl but that only applies to pages with meta options handling. In this case you probably will just want CSS as an easy option. e.g. `.search .twitterbar, .search #footer {display:none;}`

Thank you. CSS helped.. but not loving it much. i should mention that my search results page also had displayed the 3 col sidebar and 5 col footer. i was able to turn those off with css

#morefoot_area {display:none;}
.dcol_container_5 {display:none;}

i tried messing with yours after also doing some firebug work. but it seems i'd need a page-id or something which you don't get with a results page. I was trying to preserve footer options for my main pages which my css negates. I'm wondering if I'm missing something more obvious...?

`.search` should act as the "page-id" for the search results page e.g. `.search #morefoot_area {display:none;}`
