Independent PER PAGE layout AND Themes ?

I am in editing layout - pagelines.com/docs/editing-layout - but it seems to fix the WHOLE website to THAT theme...or at least THAT layout mode. I really want independence - PER PAGE - on design. Given Wordpress still operates its OWN settings left of Platform Pro's, can there be conflicts and interplay which make PER PAGE design management a challenge? I mean where WordPress stops and Platform Pro starts? I am working on it, and it does suggest a solution via the PPro options...but still seems a little fuzzy!

When you edit each page, at the bottom you will see PageLines Meta Settings. Those are the per-page PL settings that are available.. layout mode is in the first general tab.
