Featured Slider - Link to featured media without text overlay. PART 2

I've tried to change the code that has been suggested to make feature sliders clickable without text showing. However when I paste the code in my site no longer works. Can you tell me exactly what code I should be replacing.

You just need to go to PP Settings and change the FEATURE NAVIGATION mode under the FEATURE SETTINGS.

OK, I've been to Feature Settings and selected no navigation. How does that make the feature image now clickable ?
