problem editing background image in feature

hi there Platform Pro > EDIT Feature editing background image and not media image uploaded background image and saved meta settings > clicked Publish > Update it shows up on View Site then does not show up ...have re-uploaded a dozen times ... one of the features works ok and the others don't then do then don't there are Edit buttons in the actual Feature slide itself and you can also edit from the Pagelines Settings > Feature I thought maybe one was overriding the other can't figure this out why the background image will not show up consistently after uploading and saving to the feature thanks! I am wondering ..when first setting up the feature slider I must have named it ABOUT as a SET? and then we kept adding features...is one feature maybe the SET called ABOUT but each of the others are individual...can I UNset or I can't find how to edit within a SET remove or add images?

Since I'm seeing the About slide as an individual slide, I don't think you created a feature set called About, but you did create a set called About Us (and this is where the About slide is located). All other features following it are individual slides, too. If you want to edit the sets you have, you can go to Feature Sets. From there, you can delete sets or create new ones. You might want to delete the "About Us" feature set if there's only going to be one feature (the About slide) inside it and then move the About slide to a feature set where the rest of the slides are located. In your screenshot I see that there is no feature set for the other slides. You'll need to create a new one and then put all slides inside it.

Thank you did my screenshots get to you in the email? because next to editing in ABOUT has the SET called ABOUT but the other added indiv slides do not also your advice in FEATURE SETS all I get is EDIT CATEGORY ... no images or slides?

Yes, I received your screen shots. In the Feature Sets page, there should be an "Add New Category" section on the left. There is no list of images, just a list of sets on the right.

I have a similar problem - have posted about it - but my image isn't even showing up in the view finder.

I earlier tried again and strangely one knocked out the other after I opened a whole new visit not logged in and clicked RELOAD REFRESH just as a visitor might hmmm again this is background image only not media image - editing the FEATURE

Jordan I am not sure how you resolved the issue - but the issue persisted and then just went poof. all of a sudden i could upload again. i am not sure what caused the problem or what fixed it.

unfortunately - it's baaaaack...just started happening again...so...will talk to hosting company again, start a new help ticket and will report back here once resolved in case somebody else ever runs across this issue as well.

I'm having this problem, too. I can't upload images through the interface to create new boxes or features. Something with a database somewhere? Someone mentioned init.php in another thread. Should I contact my host and have them reset it or give me read access to it? Seems like the problem reoccurs even when that is done. Would it be possible in a future update to change having to upload new feature and box images through the interface, and instead allow the ability to add a URL to the image in the field? Anyway, besides that everything is working okay.
