aylmer 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2011 Hello! I'm new to Pagelines and website design. I am trying to get the current text widget on my sidebar to highlight or appear differently to indicate what page I'm at. Any suggestions? catrina 103 Report post Posted May 14, 2011 The sidebar/widget is inside an "outer frame" which would make its background color difficult to change if the area it's in never changes (since every page I go to only changes within the inside frame on the right). Does that make sense? How did you create the layout? Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. aylmer 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2011 I picked a one sidebar layer which is the blue area on the left. "home," "theater systems," "extras," and "contact" are text widgets that I added to the sidebar. I installed the "image mouseover" plugin I found while searching available wordpress plugins. Here is the html code the plugin came with: <img src="http://www.treehousetheaters.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/home-button-blue.jpg" class="mouseover" oversrc=http://www.treehousetheaters.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/home-button-red.jpg As you can see the sidebar is stationary or "floating" as I've learned and I used this CSS code: #sidebar1 {background: #292b5b;position:fixed;} So... are you saying there is no way for me to somehow keep a text widget red if I'm on that particular page... kind of like a navigation menu? thanks!
