Adjust Feature Slider to loop only once?

Recommended Posts

glassfirenze

I'd like to have the Feature Slider on my home page loop once and then stop. But, if possible I'd like to be able to adjust this setting per page. Any suggestions? Thanks! Deb

Hi Deborah! None, apart from messing around in the .js file inside /platformpro/sections/features/ or hiring someone to do that for you. Ricardo

I was looking for the same solution. I found that there is a hook for this. Add the filter below to your platformbase functions.php. Set the return value to the total number of slides or to the slide you want to stop on.

add_filter( 'pagelines_feature_autostop', create_function('', 'return 4;' ));

Yes, this filter is new to version 1.5

Excellent! Since this is in the functions.php file does that mean that all Feature's will adopt the same change or can the settings be adjusted for the different features?

Yes - this edit will apply to all features. I don't need it yet - but had wondered if there was a way to selectively use this. I haven't tried to figure that solution out though.

You could add a conditional: if is_page( 'pagename' ) { }
