I have a carousel on on my front page, this causes a bit of a problem for search results as they are displayed under the carousel. I belive it??™s possible to create a search page template, what is the best way to go about doing this in Pagelines?

In what way do you need to customize the Search template? If you just want something removed it would be better with CSS

Ideally I would like search results to display in a page without sidebars and without the carousel. I would also like the results to be in bloglayout mode rather than magazine which I am using for the rest of the site. Is this achivable with css, I'm not clear on how to identify the carousel element only on a page showing search results for example.

Hi Daniel, When you do a search, check out the body tag on the results page. Two classes are generated: "search" and "search-results". You can use either one of those to target the elements on the page. For instance:

.search #feature{display:none;}
