JohnMagic 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2011 I didnt find any info on how to set a item in the menu as the blog page. I`m sure this is documented somewhere but may forum users or Pagelines point me in the right direction ?
Kate 3 Report post Posted May 11, 2011 Hi John, Are you already using a static front page? If so, then all you need to do is create a page called "Blog". Then in Settings->Reading, assign it as the "posts" page. If you only mean how to add the menu item for a page you already created, then... are you using custom menus? e_romero 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2011 Hi, I did assign a static page as the default page and another page as the blog but the PageLine features and the PageLine Boxes appear on both. I don't want those features on the blog page, just on the static home page.
timlinson 3 Report post Posted June 23, 2011 When you go to Template Setup, click the "advanced setup" link of the boxes and features. There will be checkboxes to give you more control of where they show.
ttownsend 6 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 Hi all, I just wanted to say that these answers worked perfectly in Framework 2.2.1 Even though this is an old thread, I wonder - is it possible to have a menu item "Blog" that takes the visiter to the Posts page AND and menu item "Podcasts" that takes the visitor to posts that are podcasts? Cheers, Trevor
