change header background

Recommended Posts

Hi all, - I wonder who to change PageLines logo with something else?

		This file controls the HTML <head> and top graphical markup (including Navigation) for each page in your theme.
		You can control what shows up where using WordPress and PageLines PHP conditionals
		This theme copyright (C) 2008-2010 PageLines
		pagelines_register_hook('pagelines_before_html'); // Hook
	?><!DOCTYPE html><!-- HTML 5 -->
	<html <?php language_attributes(); ?>>
	<div id="header">
			pagelines_register_hook('pagelines_head'); // Hook
			wp_head(); // Hook (WordPress)

I already try to add a logo in there, but the pageline logo is still appears. also, how to change the background ? I would like to insert another background for the template. Thanks.

Here's a video I made to demonstrate how to change the logo, site background and the branding area background. http://wp.me/p1tHPV-6i The logo may be changed in Platform Pro>Settings>Global The site background may be changed in the Design Control area of settings. The branding area or the #header (includes menu) area are changed with custom code css rules. You put this in the custom code section of PP>Settings>Custom Code>CSS rules or in the base.css file. #branding { background: #default-color-hex url(http://url of your image)repeat or repeat-x or repeat-y or no-repeat and position; } An example of what that looks like in code is: #branding { background: transparent url(/wp-content/uploads/xyz.gif) repeat-x 0 0; }
