krumvillebakeshop 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 Hi guys! I was wondering if it is possible with platform pro to position the heather outside the page area and into the background like in the site of West elm- http://www.westelm.com/shop/bath/?cm_type=gnav any suggestions? Thanks! Best, Antonella
cmunns 16 Report post Posted April 27, 2011 What is a heather? That layout seems doable but I don't know what a heather is.
ricardo 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2011 Adam: I think Antonella means the header... Try this: - Go to PlatformPro Settings > Design Control, set your Site Design Mode to Full-Width Design With Canvas, choose your desired Body Background Color and set Page Background Color and Page Canvas Background color to "transparent" (just write transparent without the quotes in those fiels); - Go to Custom Code and add this to your Custom CSS Rules: #page-main { background: #fff; } That should be it! krumvillebakeshop 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2011 yes! that's what I meant Riccardo sorry for the MAJOR spelling error Adam. It worked! Wondering if there is a way to include the navigation menus to the #page-main { background: #fff; } so they both have a white background? thank you so much! best, Antonella
Kate 3 Report post Posted April 27, 2011 Hi Antonella, It appears they already have a white background... Could you clarify, please?
ricardo 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2011 Add "#primary-nav, " (without the quotes) before #page-main. I'm not sure if there's a space between the nav bar and the rest but it should work... Ricardo
