icjackson+ 1 Report post Posted April 13, 2011 Using Feedpress to automatically (with proper credits) post results from RSS feeds as blog entries. In TwentyTen the thumbnails in the feed appear. In Pagelines (Platform Base) they don't. Feed URL: http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/videos?q=small+business&alt=rss&client=ytapi-youtube-search&v=2 Site URL: http://onemagusa.com/videos/ Is there a fix for this? Thanks :-)
cmunns 16 Report post Posted April 14, 2011 Add the code in the following link to your -Base functions.php file http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-post-thumbnail-to-your-wordpress-rss-feeds/
icjackson+ 1 Report post Posted April 15, 2011 Adding it to that file didn't work :-( Is it possible that it should be added to another file or to the functions.php file in PlatformPro? **NOTE** I'm running a Wordpress multisite, so I'll try deleting and reloading the Base theme to make sure the changes are applied to all the subsites. icjackson+ 1 Report post Posted April 15, 2011 No dice on the deletion and reinstallation of the Base theme :-( Is there possibly some custom CSS that could fix the problem? Again, the thumbnails do show up in TwentyTen. Thanks :-)
cmunns 16 Report post Posted April 15, 2011 Hmm. I'm wondering if you need to add it to the functions.php file in the core where the RSS is generated from instead of in -Base...I'll do some resarch on it.
