I seem to need to disable pagelines sections on EVERY page...

I think I may be going about things backwards. Every time I create a page I'm having to uncheck "show soapboxes" and "features" and anything else that I don't want to show by default. Is there a way to reverse the setting so rather than turning the sections off for every page, I must turn the sections that I want on?

Yes, under the template setup panel where you drag and drop everything...click "advanced setup" for each section to "hide by default"

I thought that served a purpose, but hadn't figured it out yet. I see that when you hide a section by default, on the page and post options, the text changes from: Hide so and so... to Show so and so... This is going to make things much easier...except that my entire site needs to be reconfigured now.
