How to position share buttons 'Simple-Footnotes'

Recommended Posts

I'm a complete CSS novice, and can't find any specific advice about this. What CSS do I use to position the "Sociable', 'Tweet' and 'Facebook Like' buttons below my 'Simple-Footnotes'?: http://bit.ly/fpCAVW Also, how to get rid of the 'Sociable' buttons below each banner entry on my 'Home' page, in favour of just one for the entire page? "Sociable's' support isn't very helpful: http://animalbehaviour.gomedia.co.za/ Thanks - Mike

Hi Mike, First off for doing CSS go get Fire Bug. http://getfirebug.com it will help you immensely with figuring out what and where all the ids and classes are. To remove the sociable buttons from the banners on your homepage you can do something like #banners .sociable {display: none;} To move the sociable info below you footnotes will be more tricky. The plugin is dictating where it goes in the post so you may have to edit the PHP to change its position. You might also look at trying to move the footnotes section into the actual post itself so that the sociable plugin still shows up below the posts and the footnotes are at the end of the post.
