tctwo2 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2011 I'm on Whitehouse Pro. My posts are linked a static page. I've clicked to allow comments on this page. The Comment counter comes up, as does the prompt, but when pressing the prompt, it is linked to the page itself instead of the comment form appearing. How do I correct this and get a working comments box on this page? I have clicked to allow comments check box on the page itself. I don't see any check box for the comment form on the Theme Options: Pages and Posts area.
Kate 3 Report post Posted April 11, 2011 Hi Melissa, In Settings->Discussion are comments allowed as well? Also, do you have a link to your site, please?
tctwo2 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2011 Yes, in Discussion Settings I've checked the first 3 boxes - specifically "Allow people to post comments on new articles." I haven't checked approval boxes or anything limiting. The page is `http://rwjue.com/wp/poetry-of-significance` Thank you
cmunns 16 Report post Posted April 11, 2011 Did you also check each page? Each page has its own option for allowing comments
tctwo2 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2011 The Poetry of Significance page is the only page I'd like comments on. I'd like the comments to appear under the poem. I know on the sample WhiteHouse Pro page there's a link to a separate page where all the comments appear. I'd like it simpler with the comments residing below the poem. Somehow the link to the form is not in there.
