Styling a post through custom post types (or other taxonomy)

Recommended Posts

noelsaw

hi there, I am using Platform Pro to power a job listing site using a blog format. I also occasionally throw in "meetup events" into the blog and wanted to see if there's a way for the events post to use a different font color or have a 1 pixel box border around the post. I can use a category or tag called "events" or I could use the new custom post type? What's the best approach to do this? I can hire a WP theme developer but wanted to see if people had recommendations on how to best do this with Platform Pro so I could pass on notes to them. Thanks! Noel

Hi Noel! Each post has a category class like "category-places" or "category-events". You can use this class to add a specific css change to the events posts like different background color, border, etc Ricardo
