How to remove content area on front page?

Recommended Posts

I have a static front page that uses the "Feature Page - Full Width Content" template. In between the "feature" and widgetized bottom sidebar sections is the content section for the page. I have no additional content for the page (editing the selected page shows empty). How do I configure this page not to show the content section?

Right click on the page and select "View Source." Find the `` tag and look for `page-id-XYZ` in its list of classes. In my iblogpro, maincontent and content are both IDs, so try this in Custom Code > Custom CSS: `.page-id-XYZ #maincontent #content {display:none;}` more info on these types of tweaks: http://www.pagelines.com/docs/customization-tips

Hi Tim, The ID for the page is 76. So, I pasted: .page-id-76 #maincontent #content {display:none;} into the Custom CSS field and saved the change. The content area is still showing on the front page. Did I do something wrong? Jon
