goodwinwapcssorg 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2011 Hi, For some reason, my homepage or start page is not displaying the Whitehouse Pro version 3.15 theme, which is currently activated. The default WP theme is showing instead with no plugins, except when you drill down into the site, then you see WHP. So far, the best I can tell is the permissions are set wrong for the wp-content folder. I apologize in advance since this is probably not a theme issue, but has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Link to site Thanks, WG
timlinson 3 Report post Posted April 7, 2011 If you haven't done so already, try 1) switching to the TwentyTen theme and then back to WHP, and 2) disable all plugins. Also, what is set as your front page in WordPress Settings > Reading?
goodwinwapcssorg 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2011 Thanks Tim, I did those steps first and just tried them again, no luck. I have the Reading page set to Front Page displays a Static page and selected "Home" as my front page, same as before. The permissions are also set properly according to our web host. Odd that the correct front page displays correctly when I'm logged in.
goodwinwapcssorg 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2011 It turned out the be a conflict between the WP Mobile Detector plugin and W3 Total Cache. After deactivating and deleting the detector plugin, I tried to do the same with W3TC but it apparantly didn't delete completely. I reinstalled W3TC, activated, deactivated and then deleted it and the problem cleared. Thanks for your attention and help Tim.
