Search Page No Sidebar

How to setup the search results page so that content will be "full width layout"? Currently, search results show sidebar. By hiding the sidebar using {display: none; } only hides it, but the content is not "full width layout". According at this post: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/1354 it can be done. However in platformpro, there's no search.php, only searchform.php thanks!

Hi Rudy, You can add the search.php file to your base theme.

hmmm... add a search.php into base theme? Can you clarify further? Do u mean create a search.php and the contents is as follows?

<?php get_header(); ?>

	 <div id="content" class="fix" role="main">
	 <div id="maincontent">
	 <?php include (LIB . '/_posts.php'); ?>
	 </div>

	</div>

	<?php get_footer(); ?>

And put the search.php at the root folder of platformbase? thanks

Having trouble creating the search.php in platformbase. Tried doing:

<?php get_header(); ?>

	 <div id="content" class="fix" role="main">
	 <div id="maincontent">
	 <?php include (LIB . '/section.postsinfo.php'); ?>
	 </div>

	</div>

	<?php get_footer(); ?>

The results show that the section.postsinfo.php is not found. thanks

Perhaps we should add a global 404 page layout option.
