Add this to your custom code - custom css theme option area: ` #nav ul.dropdown li ul a, #nav ul.dropdown li.current_page_item ul a, #nav ul.dropdown li.menuhover ul a:hover, #nav ul.dropdown li.current_page_item ul a:hover { padding: 10px 13px; } ` This should work. If it doesn't then add body + a space to the front of each selector.

All the selectors are separated by commas. e.g. `body #nav ul.dropdown li ul a` So add `body` in front of each comma group.

I removed the link and posted it to the admin board. In the mean time, remove the pound sign from the all of the #body and see if it works. (`body` instead of `#body`)

Sorry but did you actually change the padding values in the code provided to something less like 5px 13px ? I tested and this should work for at least the hover state.

Hi cmunns, After changing the padding value from 10px to 5px, the menu and fonts becomes smaller but just only for once. After refreshing the page, menu looks smaller on first hover. As I move the pointer away from the menu and again hover menu becomes as like the old one, the larger one..... Why so? means the menu is not chaging for long, it chages but again becomes as like before....

When I test it after refreshing several times, I don't see the change. Are you still having an issue?

Hey Catrina, I have made the changes......

body #nav ul.dropdown li ul a, body #nav ul.dropdown li.current_page_item ul a, body #nav ul.dropdown li.menuhover ul a:hover, body #nav ul.dropdown li.current_page_item ul a:hover { padding: 5px 13px; }
Now check my site...... Still no changes for long and no stable navigation.....

Try changing it to

5px 13px 5px 13px

so that you target the bottom padding specifically as well.

When I hover over the dropdown menu, it works out fine. Can you summarize in detail what you see exactly? Which browser are you using to view it?
