Hi, Using Pagelines Pro. I want to use the meta facility 'Full widthlayout' on a page under General Page Setup. I did have it working but it seemed to stop when I added some customised css in custom code. View issue here: http://digitalderry.org/events-4/?event_id=4 There is something stopping the page going full width I have tried following: Removed custom css I added when it stopped Removed all customised css Deactivated all plugins Help greatly appreciated

I had been working with the EVENTS plugin and added this to custom css #dbem-rsvp {background-color:#f5f5f5;padding:15px;-webkit-border-radius:6px;-moz-border-radius:6px;border-radius:6px;} which can be seen at:http://digitalderry.org/events-4/?event_id=8 It was then I noticed things went wrong. I have removed the plugin but no difference. It effects the whole site. Thanks

Just a further quick note. I've added .entry_content {width: 960px;} to the custom css and it overrides the issue. But this is a cheat.

Hey Tony, Even though the plugin was deactivated, that code has still been generated. So, your custom CSS is still being applied to it. When you said full width layout stopped working, could you clarify, please?

Hmm...it does look like the full_width class is applied but right now it uses one-sidebar-right instead. This may be caused by a missing html block http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fdigitalderry.org%2Fevents%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0 * Stray end tags and duplicate IDs Also, if you add a sidebar to that page does it actually show up?

You may be able to advise. I duplicated the site at:http://digitalderry.octoberstone.com/?page_id=117 The 'Full widthlayout' layout works. Validate: http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fdigitalderry.octoberstone.com%2F%3Fpage_id%3D117 I get same validate error at: http://digitalderry.org/events so that not the issue. There is something else. Is there an easy way to reinstall pagelines pro as clean and import all content again? Will take a good few hours I'm sure but I've been fighting this for days?

If you've duplicated the site and it works then there must be something happening in one site that's not happening in the other and we need to find it. (i know i'm stating the obvious) How did you duplicate it?

Lol - the obvious needs to be stated sometimes! Experience has taught me long ago to always duplicate (roughly) to track such issues. When I created the site first I also uploaded template to my own server as well as clients. Then I just export content and images at least once a week from clients to my own. So if one breaks a have another to track it from! - such as now! I'm pretty sure now that it is something in the template and not css. A good guess is a file is clashing with a plugin. In meantime I've done a bit of a page content and css cheating to buy me time as launch of site is Friday. I have discovered a bug in the system that you should pass on to the developers - the Layout Editor has a habit of changing it's Layout Dimensions of its own accord when using settings area often.

This layout bug has been brought up in previous versions. While some people still experience it for most people it was fixed in previous versions. I do think, however, that if you are on the most recent version of PP and you ALSO explicitly reset your layout editor dimensions you shouldn't have any problems.
