Yeah! Beta Testers!

Recommended Posts

Andrew

Hey Guys, We are prepping to launch some awesome new stuff over the coming months and it's time to build a list of beta testers for new releases. The beta testers will:

  • Get access to updates/features before they're released
  • Be able to suggest and even contribute to new features and capabilities
  • Be a part of a team and something we think is exciting

If you're interested, just post your name/email/site here along with why you want to be on the list. That's it! talk soon guys :)

Hi Andrew, Count me in as a beta tester. I've used WhiteHousePro and now PlatformPro and love the Pagelines themes. I'd like to test features on my own site and provide Pageline theme updates and preview posts for my visitors. Brian Mongold [email protected] www.fivefreeapps.com

Hi Andrew - Count me in, too - I have at least five or more sites going live in the coming weeks and months, and seeing as I am already up to my eyeballs in Platform Pro, this would be great. Thanks! Nigel http://nigelskeet.com [email protected]

Hey Andrew, I'd like a shot at it. I've spent a lot of time playing with all the options of Platform Pro and feel pretty comfortable with it. I did a complete migration of my old .html/css based site to 100 percent Wordpress and PlatformPro. Thanks, Todd. My site is: Baton Rouge Counseling

Sweet! I'm doing a rush site redesign on two sites today with the latest version of Platform Pro with plans to get all design crazy in April -- after I get all the materials up for the classes I teach. I teach online marketing classes at the Peninsula College Entrepreneur Institute (the continuing ed department for small businesses and workforce retraining) and two of the classes I teach are Wordpress 101 and 102 so I get the "theme question" a lot. My goal with my site redevelopment is moving my classes online which will allow me to focus on expanding into more details. My current sites include: http://carolynecooper.com http://iconoclasticwriter.com And I just put the regional YMCA on EcoPro (PlatformPro wasn't out yet) for their site redesign to meet national specs and maintenance by a total non-technical staff member. She's been updating features and content all by her lonesome for over 3 months now and walked a volunteer through setting up another install of EcoPro! My email is: guerrill(at)carolynecooper.com Anywho, I'd *love* to be a beta tester (I've got an entire site http://wordpress-how-to-tutorial.com) that's devoted to testing and teaching sandboxes for students and clients).

Hi! Count me in as well. I've done a lot of beta testing over these last 15 years working as a web designer/developer, basically for the fun of using new software/features. Recent instals, still very basic, I'm running PlatformPro on these sites: http://lomoblog.com http://mapniac.com You can reach me here: lamego at gmail dot com Ricardo

I'm Adria Richards and my email is [email protected] and offer technology training for busy people at http://freshworkshops.com. I'm running a membership training site with s2member and Buddypress with the Pagelines Pro theme at http://freshworkshops.com/members I would make an excellent beta testing candidate because I am a technology consultant and trainer who understands Wordpress from the perspective of the non-technical user. I'm comfortable using WHM/cPanel, phpMyAdmin and editing the wp-config file with a text editor via FTP. I teach people how to use it as a CMS or blogging platform to raise visibility about their business and whether I hear it during a training, at a Wordcamp or when discussion Wordpress with a "non believer", the question of just how customizable this open source solution is always comes up. I understand bug reporting and know how to use tools like Jing and Screenr to capture screenshots & video as well as document the steps to recreate the errors. I was a Windows 98 beta tester and have been an early adopter with open source and cloud app tools. I started using Gmail in 2004 and Basecamp by 37Signals in 2005. While I'm not a Wordpress designer, I do understand the structure, content management and usability needs of business professionals using Wordpress to run their websites and can provide feedback on functionality

David Backes david [at] anvilmediainc.com anvilmediainc.com I haven't been as active in the forum recently, because most of my issues have been taken care of since I've launched our new PP site. I want to beta test so I can help make the platform better! I've been sure to bring as many issues as I can to the forums in the past, so getting a chance to help out pre-release would be awesome.

I'd love to be able to get my hands on PageLines since the "drag and drop" framework was what I expected when I bought WhiteHouse Pro.

I'm in. Love the platform, the support and the features. As a non-technical guy, it's a great add on to Wordpress. Kevin O'Brien www.wolfhirschhorn.org [email protected]
