Adding Adsense - Platform Pro

Recommended Posts

How can I add an Adsense banner to my blog post pages only? At the end of the post but before the comment form? I've tried using banners, but those don't seem to work - they don't even appear

One solution is to add your adsense as a text widget in a content sidbar or universal sidbar, then under templates place the sidbar dohiky in between your content section and your comment form. Then use a plugin like widget logic or widget locationizer to control the widget further. hopefully this helps, Bev

That works to get the Adsense ads below the content section - so after all the post content and the comments. But how do I put the universal sidebar between the post and the comments?

If you go to Template Setup > Single Post Content Area > you should be able to configure the layout of the content as you want. Yes?

But how do I put the universal sidebar between the post and the comments? - Currently, there is no option to place the sidebar in that area. The Universal Sidebar can only go on the side of the page. The best way to Adsense to places you want is by using a hook. You can learn how hooks are implemented here: http://www.pagelines.com/docs/base-child-theme
