makeylon 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 I love the fact that you can put sidebars just about everywhere in the site imaginable, except, on the side. Can we expect that at some point (preferably sooner rather than later) we will be able to have an actual sidebar on any and all pages? I think it is very likely that many people would like to have the ability to put a standard sidebar on the side of the site on all pages, without having to do massive editing in order to get the sidebar in position. For example, using a feature page (or box page, or carousel page, etc) pushes the sidebar down below the full width feature/boxes/carousel,etc. Then, in order to get the sidebar into position, massive editing has to be done to shrink the content and position the sidebar, and if anything changes on the page (like adding an extra row of boxes), it pushes the sidebar down again and has to be edited again. With the amazing drag and drop capabilities of PlatformPro, why wouldn't we have the capability of having a standard sidebar area where we could put sidebars? Also, I have been unable to get the secondary and/or tertiary sidebar to actually display. I have no idea why. --End Rant-- Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Remember Platform is still at a 1.X release and we're still learning about the types of stuff you'd like to see and the issues people have.
