dvdrw 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2011 PlatformPro Settings: Blog And Posts: Allow Tags in Excerpt: Allowed Tags I would like to allow tags in my post to make them more readable. For example EM (i in posteditor), or STRONG in posteditor). By doing that Wordpress is not stripping my tags in my posts. But if I allow the EM tag in my platformpro 'Allow Tags in Excerpt' settings a lot of code / divs is surprisingly suddenly getting EM, /EM marked. how can I avoid this and only get my EM tag in my post useable? thanks already for helping me out
cmunns 16 Report post Posted March 21, 2011 Are you adding the tags via the visual editor? That would be a possible area where it can go wrong. The option for allowing tags in excerpts shouldn't affect the actual full post content area at all
dvdrw 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 Just allowing the tag option in PlatformPro settings seems to put a lot of EM en /EM before and after other DIV's outside the excerpt DIV. I made some screenshots with comments in Picasa. In fullscreen slideshow hopefully visible. I can't find the problem
cmunns 16 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 Well for starters if you add `` to the allow tags area it is going to be stripped, also did you actually enter content into the Excerpt box or are you allowing WP to create the excerpt automatically?
