Home page needs to show a page other than blog page

Hi. Currently my site is set up to automatically load the blog page as the home page. Is there a way to make a different (static) page load as the home page?

Hey Jennifer, In your Wordpress admin section select "reading" and you should have an option use a static page in lieu of a blog page. Good Luck!
