Controlling Magazine layout, features and post categories

Hi I am testing PlatformPro at http://www.ozdigital.info/platformp The home page and navigation is based on the latest post by categories using the Magazine layout.I've added the Features element under the Post Pages template. My problem is that I can not control which featues appear under which category. Is there a way I can control this. Please let me know.

Hi Gus, Unfortunately that's not currently a supported option. However, a workaround would be to do a query (using a plugin) inside of a page, and assign a specific feature set to that page (using the options that appear at the bottom of the page).

Kate could you please explain further? What plugin are you speaking of?

While having not used it and it not being guaranteed for 3.1 this plugin looks promising:http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/query-posts/ So basically you'd use this plugin or a plugin like it to add a shortcode to you page. The page would be one that you create, not just a link to an archive. That way you have control over what appears.
