How to configure Excerpt as my requirement?

I am running a blog which contains each posts like:

Post Title One Image Some Infos Full VIdeo Thumbnails in One Image Download Links

I want to make it such a way that the home page displays only:

Post Title One Image

and then read more should appears, and after clicking the read more, or clicking on the post title link, the whole post displays in single link..... But now the whole post is visible in homepage..... How to configure it...Please help.

If I understand correctly, you can do this by using the 'More' button found on the toolbar when you write a post: Position the cursor at the point in your post where you want the break, then click this button. The inserted 'more' line won't appear in your post, but it will add a 'Read more' link on the home page at this point.
