Not sure if possible: aligning half of logo with feature

Recommended Posts

First, thanks for the great program and the support! Secondly, I have a question I think is rather tricky. I am wondering if it is possible to make our logo, which is mostly vertical, bigger (and longer) on the left hand side without making the header area wider.... This is the link: In other words, I would like to see the tree (our logo) along the right side become bigger, with the roots lined up with the features, without changing the overall dimension of the page. I guess this would mean changing the size of the feature to be shorter and the logo to over ride some of the feature area. Basically we want to find a way for the tree to take more space without having a "long" page that requires much scrolling down and a bunch of empty white header space. Is this at all possible? Thanks again for your help! Virginie

I would like to see the tree (our logo) along the right side become bigger, with the roots lined up with the features - By this, do you mean that you want the roots of the tree in your logo to extend downward, to the left of the feature area?

Instead of uploading your tree logo image as a header logo image, it should be set up in CSS to be a background image instead so that it's positioned the way you want. If it's a background image, it can "stretch" downward and cover the right space, but first, you need a larger logo image and the tree needs to be positioned so that the roots are extending farther downward. Do you have one?

Yes, I have a larger image and will upload it as a background image. I first uploaded it as a background image but found that it was not "fixed", being visible depending on the dimension of the screen. How would I use CSS to position the tree and have it part of the page? Thks.
