Andrew 207 Report post Posted October 28, 2009 Can you please advise on how to remove the pale gray PageLines icon/link at the bottom of the WHP theme? Hi There. Ok In the case that you would like to remove it, we request that you maintain some kind of attribution on your site (e.g. a link, post, logo, etc..) The reason is because this type of customer evangelism (i.e. word of mouth marketing) really helps us support you and update/improve the themes. With that, please email me and I'll send you the recommended method for removing the logo from the bottom
jcubos 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2009 Hi there. On my posts, how can I change the location of the "Pagelines" link from the middle of my post to the bottom of the theme
Andrew 207 Report post Posted November 28, 2009 Sorry about that, we've had reports of this happening when there are markup problems on the page. The reason is that the 'wrapper' div is being closed prematurely, by something on the page (in the WP content) If you want to give us a 'live' link we might be able to identify the issue. jcubos 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2009 http://www.jeffcubos.com/2009/11/14/the-shoulder-in-sport/ Here's the link. Right in the middle of my post you can faintly see the linkable "pagelines" icon that should be located at the bottom of the theme Thanks
Andrew 207 Report post Posted November 30, 2009 The markup problem is occurring in one of your sidebar widgets... (I think one of the bottom two). I can't tell which one however.
kingdomengineer 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2009 This is happening on several pages in my website as well. www.KingdomEngineers.com In particular on the Blog pages.I believe it's happening when I select the "Secondary Sidebar" option. Any suggestions?
Andrew 207 Report post Posted December 1, 2009 a widget in your secondary sidebar probably has a markup issue. Do you know how to check for it with 'FireBug Inspect'?
savavoom 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2009 Hello, I appreciate that you need backlinks which is why I'll happily place a link on my site. However I would also like to know how to remove the footer link from the site? I tried removing everything to do with Pagelines to try and get rid of it. I've deleted the image file, deleted anything to do with credits in the php files, removed the css coding for the footer link. That's all worked fine, but now I'm stuck with: "professional wordpress themes" At the top of the site above the logo. On some browsers there is no link on others (opera for example) it links to pagelines. I've searched every file for these words and deleted them all but it's still there. Please could you tell me the secret to removing any links, I'm quite stuck for ideas now! Thanks in advance, Robbie PS, the site I've tried removing it on is: http://www.discopixels.com Thanks
Andrew 207 Report post Posted December 2, 2009 The easiest way is to just use custom CSS, but please do keep some attribution (helps us support and develop the themes for you). If you want to delete the code, write me with the theme you're using and I'll tell you what you need to do.
savavoom 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Hey Andrew, Thanks for the reply. Having fiddled around with it so much, I've now deleted all the tags relating to the position of the link so now when I paste back in the css code for the link it doesn't do anything, and I can't remember where the rest of the code went to make it stylable again. I'd like to just get rid of it please, and I'll place a link somewhere else. I'm using the Iblog3 Pro theme. E-mail address is: [email protected] Thanks for your help,
jcubos 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2010 It seems as though the icon only disappears when I use widgets in the sidebars. If I keep the sidebars empty, the icon stays at the bottom. This applies both to the main, secondary, and content sidebars. Any thoughts?

This applies both to the main, secondary, and content sidebars. Any thoughts? This is probably due to a markup issue on the page or similar, hiding/removing the PL link should work or it shouldn't.... to look into it further, we'd need a live link.
