Carousel and Gallery Settings Independent?

Hi - I have the platformpro carousel set up to deliver six 100px by 75px horizontal thumbnails at the top of my home page and pages but not posts. They run from a single nexgen gallery. I have used the platform pro carousel settings to set this up. I have set up a stand alone nexgen gallery for every post and I want to display a slide show of large images (600 x450) with a transition effect. The code I have used on each post page for the gallery display is this one [nggallery id=X template=carousel images=7] If I change the nextgen gallery settings to get the post gallery to work then the carousel also picks these settings up - which I do not want. I want a thumbnail horizontal carousel and a large slideshow gallery - anyone any idea how can I set this up? Thanks

I have not managed to find a way in the settings of seperating the nextgen settings from the carousel. I have had to just use the nextgen gallery tags in every post. Layouts that wroked for me were either of these two. [slideshow id=39 template=carousel w=600 h=450] [imagebrowser id=39 w=600 h=450]
