gayatriom 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2011 Hey. I am using Illustrator to create my logo. I created it at width- 1020 px and height - 90 px and then converted it o PNG. When I upload it on to the site, it looks blurry. Any thoughts? Here is a screenshot. http://imgur.com/jtjar
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted March 17, 2011 A live link would be more helpful, but I think it's obvious that 1020px is too wide and is being sized down. You need to size it down on your end for web use. Thanks, Bryan
gayatriom 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2011 hmm. but my site is that wide. http://talentedtenthnetwork.com is the live link. The logo section is everything in the header from the logo on the left to the quotation on the right. g
Guest Guest Report post Posted March 17, 2011 The branding wrap div is only showing up as 985 by 96, so perhaps resize the image to that and re-upload and see if you experience a difference. The image is actually bleeding over slightly so it's not being resized, so perhaps it is also the way you are saving it.
gayatriom 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2011 hmm. ok. I can do that. I unbolded the text in the graphic and it's looking better. (my client was adamant on bolding- seriously? ) Thanks for all this amazing help, guys!
wendygordon 6 Report post Posted April 27, 2011 i was able to fix mine by going into the brandnav css and playing around with the percentages allocated to the logo area and the menu area. the default sets the logo area at 22%. i changed mine to 30% for the logo and 66% for the nav )i also changed the left margin for the nav, and now my image comes in crystal clear.
