station pro forum user registration to stop spams

I use the station pro forum with my station pro theme. New user can register for the forum without any check of basic information required. How can I stop this? I'd like to use kind of a moderation to give users access and not that the system gives access. I cannot find any way to add additional plug-ins to the forum, hence I am not really happy with what I bought... Any help out there?

bbPress plugins have to be added via ftp. Just one part of why WP is currently strengthening the bbPress forum package.

Thanks. And how can I set the e-mail address for the forum registries? When a new user registers he gets an e-mail with a password. But where can I set or change the process? I cannot find anything in the bbPress dashboard... For me it seems to be sent directly from my provider? As you can see, I am not an expert...

I think they are registered with your actual WP installation. Check and see, I'm not sure.
