davide101 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2011 We have a multi-site installation that shows recent posts from all blogs on the homepage. When we enable PageLines on a new blog, it creates a series of posts and floods the site's feed. How do we disable this behavior?
cmunns 16 Report post Posted March 16, 2011 It creates a series of posts from where? Is this blog a subdomain or is the multisite root that you are activating it on? A little more info please. Thanks David.
davide101 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 The posts are created on the new blog. It creates a default YouTube box, Features, etc. I'd like the blog to start out completely empty, or, it would be nice if Pagelines was backdating them a year so they didn't show up at the top of a feed. cmunns 16 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 Oh right. Every PlatformPro ships with default Features and Boxes post types as examples of how to use them. You may want to specify that the feed only pulls "posts" and not other post types, just the normal ones. I'm assuming you are using a plugin to feed the main page? davide101 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2011 Yes. We're using WPMUDEV's Global Posts plugin with their Post Indexer. I will dig in and see what it takes to strip that out. Thanks. I still suggest that these types of default content be backdated to make this a non-issue.
Andrew 207 Report post Posted March 25, 2011 There is a filter for these, you can just add a filter and remove this functionality or add your own posts by default. The one for the 'features' is: pagelines_default_features
