Show Features on static Frontpage but hide them on categories pages

Hi there, i am going crazy. I have to show features on the frontpage (Home/static) and on no other pages (no problem) and on no other post pages (e.g. categories) . The features were added in Template Setup > Site Header. Now i tried several combinations. Hide Features by default (in Template Setup > Site Header) and activated them on the page (Home) itself. Does not work. What may i do to just have them on the frontpage and on no other page? Thank you very much for your help! Florian

The solution is simple. This is what you need to do: 1. You did not need to add the features to Template Setup > Site Header. Remove The Features from there. 2. Go to your home page and choose Feature Page from the Page templates drop-down menu. Save the page. an7h1.png

Hi Sourena, thanks a lot for the help, but this does not work for me. This works fine, if the page i am using the Feature Template is a standard page. As soon as i set my "Home" page to be the frontpage (Settings > Reading > Static Page > Article Page > "Home") this does not work any more. Maybe this only works for "simple" pages but not for the "Home" page... Thanks everyone! Florian

I don't understand. You should set your Home page this way: Settings > Reading > Static Page > Front Page > "Home" Your homepage is your Front page.

Hi Sourena, Settings > Reading > Static Page > Front Page > "Home" this works. And the Feature ist visible. Settings > Reading > Static Page > Front Page > Choose Settings > Reading > Static Page > Article Page > "Home" does not work and shows only the newest posts, but no feature. Goal is, to have a home page, including latest post and have a feature on it... Florian

Hi Catrina, it`s a static page called "Home" i created. In wordpress under Settings i`d like to to set Settings > Reading > Static Page > Front Page > Choose (empty) Settings > Reading > Static Page > Article Page > "Home" This works with the wordpress standard theme. But when using PlatformPro, the feature will not show up. So as i said i want to show a feature on my home page and below this feature my latest posts. I can`t find the combination of settings, where this is possible. Thanks a lot! Florian

If you want the Feature to show up only on your home page, you can choose a static Front Page (don't leave it empty), which can be edited in Page editor to display the Feature slider.
