Platform Pro caused login error

I uploaded the Platform Pro theme to my WordPress site and activated it. Now the site will not load and I cannot log in as the administrator. Every time I try, I get a blank white page. What do I do to recover my log in and activate the Platform Pro theme? Thanks.

Hey Jenn, The easiest way to get your site back is to login through ftp and rename the theme folder. What is happening is you have an error. Not sure what the error is, but it might be a plugin issue or a install problem. Next time you try and install, deactivate plugins first.

Forgive me if this sounds dumb, but I don't understand what you mean by renaming the folder. If I change the folder name from "theme" to something else, how will WordPress understand where to go to find the theme I want to use?

well if you have an error caused by the theme, just rename platformpro to something else: e.g. `__platformpro`
