removing link from header and footer image

Recommended Posts

EvaB

I used platform pro to make www.deprinsessen.nl and really liked it. There is one thing, I want to remove the link to the home-page from the header (branding) and footer image, but cannot find where to do that. I hope someone can help me here. Thanks, Eva

What do you mean? You don't want your logos to link anywhere? Why would you want to do that if you don't mind me asking?

Right,I don't want the images (the top with the books and the foot with the shoes)/logos to link anywhere. We find it confusing... :) Is it possible? Thanks!

I see, because of the way you've used them they're not your typical setup and there is no reason for them to be linked. Are you using the Base or no, either way we'll have to get into the template files. Thanks, Bryan

Hi Bryan, sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I was away for 2 weeks... Anyhow, the problem still hasn't been solved. I use the Pro version, and have the Base installed too. I just used a header and footer image, and they were automatically linked, I think... Anyhow, I would appreciate it if you could help me out, after all this time :)) Thanks, Eva

You could try removing the links via jquery. Something like this in your footer scripts area in the theme options. ` ` I haven't tested this but it should work with the header image.
